What rebranding an airline taught me about constraints
A logo redesign is easy to imagine in isolation. It gets harder the moment it has to live on a 767 fuselage, a boarding pass, a seatback screen, and a pilot's badge, all at once.
Working on the airline rebrand taught me to design the system before the mark — the mark is just the most visible expression of decisions made much earlier.
More on this as the piece develops.
