Micro-interactions are a writing problem, not an animation problem

When a micro-interaction feels wrong, the instinct is to reach for the easing curve. Usually the actual problem is upstream of that — the interaction doesn't have a clear point of view about what just happened. Treating motion as a sentence, with a subject and a consequence, fixes more interactions than any timing tweak. More on this as the piece develops.
